My Friend Adrian

Willard Park, Berkeley. My Mom's friend from Pre-Natal Yoga, Francoise. I hugged everyone at the park and picked a nice boy to be my big brother for the afternoon. I love playing with the big kids.

Waxing Nostalgic

With many of my friends and family having babies or getting ready to have them, I am waxing nostalgic...for the sweetness, not the crying and sleepless nights! Can't believe how big our little bird is now. He has recovered fully and is eating non-stop to make up for last week. Here's a sample of what I mean by 'non-stop':
3 Morning Star sausages, 2 waffles, 1 hash brown, 1 cup of Cheerios, 16 oz. of whole milk, endless amounts of Newman's Own Cinammon Cookies throughout the day, one in each hand at all times, 1 cup of applesauce, 3 dolmas, 1 cup of organic vegetable lentil soup, 1 slice of turkey, 1/4 cup of hummus with bread, TWO ENTIRE BRIOCHES FROM THE CHEESBOARD, and finally 1 slice of pizza from The Cheesboard.
Now we know why the kid nursed every two hours for the longest time!
