Big Day

Ian's first out-of-womb trip to San Francisco (on BART, no less!) today. He slept all the way there, but needed to be fed in an office. We went to visit Dad and showed him off at his work a bit, where he was wide-eyed and interested in his environment. He cried a little at Rincoln center, but you can't hear thing in there, so it was easy to lull him back to sleep with a (really good) rendition of "Twinkle Little Star". I was feeling really ambitious and way pushing my luck, but I took him to Nordstrom, S.F. Center after lunch. Not bad, and I finally got out of Berkeley after a month and a half.

Just Lounging

Went for a walk with our friends Susie and Santiago today. Mom dealt with the stroller, diaper bag, and car seat all by herself today. We miss Dad, though. Happy Belated, Birthday, Dad!

This picture is from a few days ago when it was a million degrees in Berkeley...

1. Mom gets out of the shower just in time to feed Gordo.
2. Ian's first ride in the Bugaboo...he poops and wants to be fed within 10 minutes of leaving the house. We almost forgot the diaper bag.
3. Dad and Ian "ooooh" to one another.

Jaundice Troubles

Ian had to go under the lamps overnight for his jaundice last week. We stayed with him all night, and were probably more stressed out than our little guy. He kept having to go back everyday for blood tests where they pricked his heel (!!!) and made us all cry. Luckily, his levels went finally went down and we're done with all that. He sure did use the car seat a lot that week.
