Turkey and Cheese

Ian feeding Beckett. Turkey and Cheese are their favorites.

Crawling is still faster

Tail Pulling and Cruising

It's a new sport.

Taunting Beckett

We keep trying to get the kid on video, walking, but all we get is him picking at the cat. (Check out the way he pretends to pick at something at the couch trying to fool the cat.)

Real Shoes

I gave the kid a makeover yesterday...I was tired of seeing him in stripes. We bought some real shoes for him and it seems to help with the walking (Four steps today and blowing my mind). He tried to put a shoe in his mouth, which means he likes them, I think.
He's also obsessed with pictures and calls everything he likes "bbzzzbzzzbzzzbaaaaby". We started calling everything "baby", too, until that got old. Now we're working on teaching him some new words. "Impeach", "Pull Out" and some others come to mind....

Ian...Iaaaannnn...Where's Ian?

There's Ian!
Here's the 9 1/2 month checklist:
31 3/4 inches long (off the charts for his age)
20 pounds, 10 ounces (average for his age)
head circumference is in the 75th percentile
so he's tall, lean and has a biggish head.

Standing w/o support
Taking three steps
Waving 'bye-bye' to everything
Babbling non-stop and asking 'questions'
Pointing...with his middle finger
Clapping hands together on command (good for our egos)
Hugging (my favorite new one)
Still kissing everything with an open mouth
Eating whole Cheerios

Things he says:
Bye Bye

Things he loves:
Being Tickled
Playing in the park with other kids
Being held upside down
Funny faces
Small Dogs
Pictures of other babies/ other babies in general
Being hugged

Waking Up from Morning Nap

I think he likes his book, Nana

More Steamtrain

It was really hard to contain Ian's excitement and it really tired him out. "Sleeping in the car seat" is my new favorite Ian pose.
