Rough weekend. I'm not sleeping. Kyle has been battling a cold for a week and a half and Beckett's going in to the vet for a consultation for his (VERY) hyperthyroid. When it gets bad, he gets Valium so far, but there may be a cure for it and that's where he is in this picture.
He's been Ian's special friend the past nine months so where really crossing our fingers that he gets better soon.

a followup: we need someone to take care of Beckett for three weeks when he gets this treatment; he cannot be around a baby (or anyone under 16) by state law after he's had this radioactive shot. Any takers? He is sweet and easy to care for, and of course we'll supply all the food, litter, and emotional support.
